The Salt Cafe Preet Vihar | Rooftop Café in East Delhi (Since 2015)

Recently visited here and the vibe of this place was amazing. They have a spacious indoor seating on second floor and a spacious covered rooftop area with beautiful ambience. The live singing in the evening makes the rooftop ambience even more attractive & romantic. I totally loved the place and their hospitality. The staff was friendly. I had a lovely experience and wish to visit soon again

Tandoori Non veg platter was really good. Fish and chicken malai tikka were the standouts for me. Chicken tempura sushi was average. Outer rice layer was a bit tough and chicken wasn’t crispy as expected in tempura. Chicken Manchow soup was also decent. Tawa chicken masala combined with crisp lachha paranthas was delicious!

The place looks and feels great. It is designed in very delicate, organic, greek tropical interiors which was a surprise as I didn't expect that. The maintenance and service were at par with the expectation but the food was below average for me. Something as basic as fries weren't done right at all. The cold coffee was sub-par, the garlic bread was overdone and very crumbly, and over all this the prices didn't justify the food quality at all. I've had 10x times better food at a much reasonable price.

Great ambience and hospitality, must try tandoori momos, chinese sizzler , mocktails and chocolate bomb for dessert
